October's book of the month is Miss Alaineus- A Vocabulary Disaster. Each day at ELA Mrs. Darby (our assistant principal) gives us a word of the day! yesterday the word was astonishment and today it was courageous! We used these new vocabulary words in our writing today!
We also had fun reading the new book of the month!

ReplyDeleteI'm extremely proud of Siya and the growth/progress she has made thus far in 1st grade with her reading and writing.
I chuckled when I read Siya's caption because she does NOT have a DS (but her sister does).... So when I asked her about this story, she said "It's fiction - I made it up!!" LOL
